- Editor's Notes
- Signed "George." Just arrived in Ohio. Been trying to write you as promised, but so much visiting made it impossible; got here Thursday after hard journey; stopped at Lake Wier and Jacksonville; Mina must have told you about our trip; Sat. went to Canton to see Robert & Louise; Louise was charming hostess; Auntie Clark is visiting, seems feeble; glad Mr. Miller makes son take medicine every day; good thing you didn't come with us; it's so cold; haven't started studies, but expect to tomorrow if Miss McWilliams arrives; Mina is hurt you haven't written her after she wrote you four times; "you ought to write her very often if you don’t intend having a cyclone soon."; "All congratulate you upon shooting at a dead aligator."
