- Editor's Notes
- I shall have very little to tell you in this letter for I only wrote you just the other day but you told me to write you once a week if only to tell you whether or not I am well. We have been having bitterly cold weather lately, this past week. I have not had the energy to venture out and consequently do not feel very well, if I miss one day of m y exercise I feel the effects for a week afterwards that shows that regular habits are necessary to perfect health. I don’t think you take enough exercise, sometimes I marvel how you keep well when you seldom if ever walk. You must not forget Mama that you promised to send me one of the baby's pictures as soon as they were finished. I think the ones taken in Orange very much better than those [illeg] Now do not forget your promise for I am ever so anxsious to have one for they are so cute. I received an invitation from [illeg] for an [illeg] it must have been long in coming for it did not leave me time to send my regrets also another invitation for a party in New York. I would not go if it was convenient for such things are not much in my line and besides I have become a perfect [baby?] lately and it makes me [illeg] for I will never be able to go to any place and feel at home if I keep on getting so stupid & bashful. I have said all I intend to about my studies. I leave it entirely to you I have begun not to care what becomes of me. Give my love to all and keep a good share for yourself. Marion."
