Title
[FI001ABO], Letter from Mary Valinda (Mrs Lewis) Miller to Mina Miller (Mrs Thomas A.) Edison, Thomas Alva Edison, October 15th, 1887
Editor's Notes
"I was and am sory I neaded or had to receive that punishment from my Dear Mina but that is right when I do wrong I hope you will correct me." I'll send you a paper with a few prices marked so you can see how little Akron is doing. I think we will all leave this place. Would you stay in such a place? It is too bad after Pa's hard work and doing so much for a place as Pa has done to be treated as he is. I feel ashamed to send this but you will not let TAE see it. I hope you and TAE will come see us. Pa may be with you this week. Hope the boys are well and love school, also hope Dot is well and happy. I expect you miss Dot and Miss MacWilliams "but I should think you would they were not with you." Do not mention this to any one but I think it's tedious to have a teacher in the house. Don't let TAE see this or anyone else.
