Editor's Notes
14-7634. Waiting in vain all day for a telegram from you; you must have stopped in Cinncinati just long enough to breakfast; Mom would feel better if you would send word each day until you are settled; hard for me to accept that you are married; "But when I think of the one you have for a husband I feel content and think Everything is as it should be"; "You seemed so lovely last night when you left us all. Mr. Edison seemed so nice also. I hope he will learn to love me--as a sister for that is what I want to be to you both"; house has been restored to order after the wedding; "Every one that I have seen liked Mr. Edison's face so much and were pleased with him"; Mallory goes to Chicago tonight; weather disagreeable today; your wedding day was perfect; will pack up your things next Monday; Mom sends love to you and TAE; write soon; tell TAE to write too.
