Myers about now; I fear it will be hot in the South before Mother and Father leave and also that mother may not go South at all, though she will go to NY; had breakfast with Mr. Marvin; we have put the canopy, umbrella, altarpiece, etc. for the wedding upstairs to dry; everybody said your wedding was beautiful. [Much other gossip about the comings and goings of friends and family].
