Was the house in order and were Jennie's boat and stateroom nice; how are Thomas' pigeons; has William come home; I wish he had stopped here since I wanted to see him; the alligators are still fat and are making a place for themselves and for the waterlillies you sent us; when are you and Rob coming home? I suppose Rob is with Miss Igoe; Jennie is probably "across the water" now; Mama will write you, Jennie, and Mamie.
