Audit report by W. A. Harding (accountant) "In the matter of the Edison Machine Works" based on examination of books of account, vouchers, and trial balances from 31 March 1881 to 1 August 1883. Books generally correct, if kept rather loosely. Concludes that "the book-keeping has, on the whole been well-done, and we do not believe that there has been anything wrong done through the books."
