Editor's Notes
"Memorandum made at New York City...at interview between committee of the Shamokin Company...[and] Mr. Upton and Mr. T A Edison and Mr Insull, and President Eaton." Regarding TAE's proposal to take back two H dynamos & engines and replace with two S machines and one engine. Also to install various other equipment to make Shamokin a "perfect" and thoroughly up-to-date plant. EELCo and Lamp co to reimburse for excessive lamp breakage up to time of installation of new equipment. Shamokin people evidently dissatisfied & expect "a perfect plant as of today." After negotiations, EELco agrees to return $1,600 in bonds to pay for upgrades.
