Trustees of Electric Railway Co. formally request that Christiansen sell 5,000 shares, 2,500 to the EELCo. or to another party as the company may direct; 2,500 shares to Cyrus W. Field or to another party as the company may direct; you are to sell at $15 per share; money from sale should be deposited with Drexel, Morgan; out of the proceeds you must pay $10,000 in cash for use of Electric Railway Co. and to reimburse Field and Edison "a sum not exceeding Sixty five thousand Dollars."
