Summary: Agreement to form a company in New Jersey for the sale of electric power in Cuba called "Havana Electric Light Company." The Spanish/Cuban parties to this agreement are to secure exclusive license to operate in Havana, to secure patents for this Company held by the "Edison Spanish colonial Light Company," and to secure rights in other Cuban locations as the Company directs, sell mortgaged bonds for the Company, and serve as directors in charge of its capital, though a larger share of the Company held in trust by Charles Coudert and an elected Board of Directors for five years. The agreement is void if the parties fail to obtain license from the city of Havana within 6 months, or secure patents, rights and privileges for the Company from Spain within thirty days.
