- Summary: The first four pages of this document are a letter from Mr. Tate to Mr. Edison, informing Edison that W.W. Jacques' shares in the [?} Company had decreased between January and April. The next letter is from Edison to Jacques and Briggs, informing him that he is waiving his right to 4000 dollars worth of royalty payments on the phonograph, and that he will only collect royalties due from after the 1st of July, 1888. The next page is a table of stock owned by Briggs and jacques.
