First, ## Both parties agree that a promissory note made by Lippincott for Edison for $65,000 payable October 31st 1889 is extended for two months, the renewal note payable December 31 1889 with interest. ## Second, ## Edison has received 11,850 shares of stock in the Edison Phonograph Company as security for payment of the promissory note. Edison has full voting power on the stock, and will sell the stock if Lippincott defaults on his debt, handing over any surplus to Lippincott.
