- Referring to your letter of yesterday it will be quite impossible for me to attend the Telephone interference case. Do not have Murray testify to anything except as to his interests as Manufacturer excepting you might ask him if he remembers us working with the three tube instruments in 1875. If his memory is bad this is all that he need remember and its perhaps best that he remembers no more. In regard to Clarke had you not better communicate with [G---?] who owns Clarke patent? I don't want any interference if I can possibly avoid it.
