Title
[LB007139B], Letter from Francis Jehl to Charles Lorenzo Clarke, May 4th, 1881
Editor's Notes
I tried those experiments with the galvanometer you cannot extend the distance from the [gols?] to the seals more than about 1 meter, but if we had [2] seals larger than the one I have got, one that extends to more than 350 divisions we will be able to get a greater deflection as the rays of the galvanometer are not obstructed for a [little] [every?] [yet?] We might be able to [arrange] some other way to get a [long] [index].
