Title

[LB007599], Letter from Richard Nott Dyer to David Hunter Brandon, June 27th, 1882

Editor's Notes

I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 2d ult. and also the receipt of the printed blank powers [--dly] sent by you. We propose to forward the papers for foreign patents as soon after the filing of the U.S. cases as possible, and this will always give a reasonable length of time for the preparation of the papers for filing. In no case, except where special instructions are sent, will the U.S. patent issue within a month of the time that the papers reach Paris. I cannot see how a delay of longer than a week, or two weeks at the outside, is necessary. Our London solicitor is mr J. J. Handford, of 42 Southampton Building, London W.C. and he understand he I understand is in correspondence with the [Cie] Continentale Edison.
