I am going away yachting with Mr Edison for a week or so and during my absence Mr Rocap our bookkeeper at the machine works will present at D. M & Co. the Invoices & Bills of Lading with Draft on Edison Electric Light Co of London. Will you kindly arrange that the checks in payment of same are drawn to the order of the Edison machine Works instead of to Mr Edisons order as otherwise Mr Rocap could not use the checks until Mr Edison or myself return
