Editor's Notes

I received from you through mr seely rough copies in cases 428 to 438 inclusive: also tracings in cases 410 to 415 inclusive. Cases 428 to 432 were among those delivered to you June 10th [st], but I already have the claims in those cases and did not care for the roughs Cases 437 to 442 both inclusive were the ones I wrote and asked you for.##The specns were prepared by me and were delivered to you June 10th. Now if you have not preserved the rough copies you would do me a favor by letting me take your office copies temporarily, or if you have not presrved office copies, by ordering for Mr Edison copies of the specns from the Patent Office. Kindly let me hear from you on this subject.##In regard to case 433 of which you send me rough copy, I have no record of taking Mr Edison's oath in this case, and do not think he signed the papers here at the Park
