- Your two favors of 19th & 22nd to hand.##I have not seen Harpers weekly so have not seen the [loss] [cut] you refer to. It is certainly not the one on electric of which I was to send you as I have not received the Cut or the Electros from the [Engraver] yet. He promised us a telegram to ship them today so I hope to send you an electro by tomorrow express.##As to Mr Guilberts request for information as to a small motor for a skiff Mr Edison has nothing of the kind. It would be necessary to get the current to work the motor & it would certainly not be [economical] to have a small steam engine in the boat to operate the motors much better use steam direct The only other way of getting current could be from secondary batteries & these are entirely too bulky besides being
