- Your two favors of 28th came duly to hand.##I return you herewith the letter & Bill from the morristown Savings Bank. I have shown them to Mr Edison who says that although it is certainly an imposition he would see what can be done in the matter.##As to payment on Mr. Edisons assessment I am going to try to get you $[1]000 tomorrow & if I am able to do so I will telegraph to you that I have done so##I am sorry I was unable to call down to see you today and after I sent my first telegram to you things turned up here which quite prevented my doing so.##I shall be at 65 5th Ave at 1.30 tomorrow (Tuesday)
