Enclosed please find Bills of Lading for goods shipped to Paris by S. S. France & S. S. Canada##The Shipment sent by the S. S. Canada form part of my most important exhibit at the Exposition being a large Steam Electric Dynamo machine capable of giving about 800 Electric Lights.##As it is highly important that this should get to Paris as quickly as possible I shall esteem it as a very great favour if you will use your good offices in the matter.##None of the packages contained in these shipments have the French Labels on them, they have however the Labels of the Department of State
