- Editor's Notes
- "Please give me the size of the cylinder on your little engine. My impression is that the engine was sold as a ten horse power with seventy five pounds boiler pressure and if so of course it would not be more than a six horse power with forty pounds of boiler pressure. All that is required to keep the lamps exactly what you want them to do is to run the dynamo machine 1400 revolutions at your boiler pressure at seventy five or eighty pounds while using the lights. Or(?) put the [----] sized belt on the main shaft and run it from your regulated engine or [--] get a new small engine."
