Title
[LB009223], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Edward Hibberd Johnson, October 23rd, 1881
Editor's Notes
You cabled me that Drexels would receive instructions from Fabbri to pay for the small machines & Engines ordered by you. Up to last night they had received no such cable from Fabbri. As I do not want there to be any trouble when the bills are presented I cabled you this morning##"Drexels not yet instructed Imparative that you arrange for payment immediately machines are finished"##In ordering machiines please remember this as even if I do get all payment promptly I have quite as much as I can possibly swing. In financing I have to sail very close to the wind & consequently I must look sharp after such matters
