Barker is going to deliver a lecture before the National Academy of Science on Friday next.##Please send him following by Wednesday morning at the latest:##Three three light chandeliers##One Two light chandeliers##One One light chandeliers##Two cast Iron Swing Brackets##Two Brass Swing Brackets##Four of each kind of the fixtures that go over the Gas Burner##Two of the tripod gas pipe chandeliers that come down with a long sweep##Also anything you think might be useful to show such as [sockets] with a spike to fix in wood that spring a rrangement to put inside a desk##Three or four stands for lamps##One Stand lamp with a Bronze [figure]##Send porcelain shades with all these things & holders except a few [azure] shades to go with the common chandeliers##Send thirty safety catch Blocks with a supply of plugs for from one to twenty lights##Send some turn off switches for furning off from five to one hundred lights.##The Sockets are to be of the old kind and it would be as well for you to send some extra ones##All these things should be got together & shipped at the very latest on Wednesday morning to Prof Geo. P. Barker University of Pennsylvania Philadelphia as e wants the for a lecture on Friday##Bill them to Edison Electric Light Co but send bill to me
