Evans spoke to me yesterday about a young man named McConnell whom you have arranged to handle your phongrpahs ans who stated to you that he had gained his experience in the Laboratory in that connection## McConnell was employed therin the Galvonometer Dept. And had no practical experience in the operation of the phongraph. TAE does not consider him competant to take charge of the machines ## I will make a propostion to you on Monday which will ensure you always getting experianced and capable men to act as experts if you desire to tale advantage of it."
