Title
[LB011364], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to George Edward Gouraud, February 27th, 1882
Editor's Notes
European Telephone. You will doubtless have been surprised at the delay in setting up this matter. The reason is that Mr Barker has been at home sick for a long time past. He is however back in the City again and on the first opportunity I will discuss the matter with him and write you further.##Oriental Telephone. Cannot you hurry up a settlement of this matter. It is now over a year I think since the business was commensed and the action of the Directors on delaying a settlement so long extremely surprises me.##United Telephone. Is it not about time that this was settled also.
