- I beg to confirm cables as follows From you March 17, 82. [Yes] for adjoining adjacent but for adjourn will make special draft cable amounts.##From you March 18, 82 Will get along without.##I was under the impression that we were to draw for all things ordered by you - plants drawings machinery supplies from Bergmann for your factory - through the Societe Electrique Edison as we had no special instructions from you as to how we were to get payment for goods ordered for the Societe Industrielle I commerciale Edison & therefore presumed that our authority from the Societe Electrique Edison referred to all three Companies You will find in statements of account dated 16th Feby item for $425 that we should not have drawn for the same remark applies to $120 in statement 16th March we presume you can put these matters straight with the Societe Electrique Edison##As to your order for magnet & armature wire the former will be shipped to you on 29th inst. I have not been so fortunate with the order for armature wire. Shipments on this account will commense in about two weeks at the rate of [850] lbs weekly. Judging from experience with the only people we can get this wire from I rather doubt if they will keep their promises as to delivery. Answer I will see that it is sent on to you as quickly as possible.##Edison is still away. I do not know when he wil return as I have not heard one word from him since he left on 1st of this month - with the exception of a short telegram from his wife
