Many thanks for your telegram of today I do not know yet whether anything will come of it.##I am very much surprised at not receiving the second engine more especially after receiving your note of last week promising shipment. I do not know exactly how to characterize the action of whoever is responsible for Mr Morse having [recd] the engine after his promising to me in your presence when I consented to his having my second engine##For the future I shall [only] [feel] [preece] I am going to [illegible]
