- I am sorry I could not comply with your request as to the shares which go to you under my contract with Drexel Morgan & Co. The matter is entirely in their hands and [obligations] beyond my control. I think under the agreement with the London Co the shares are issued to Drexel Morgan & Co as my attornies.##I am very glad that there is some prospect of a settlement of the [Oriental] matter being closed up. It has now neen hanging so long that I had almost given up hopes of a settlement being arrived at
