Mr Edison desires me to call your attention to the patent issued to Edward Weston April 18th [--] on Dynamo Electric machines (no. 256,778). The claim seems to be a limited one, but the specification was drawn with the evident intention of covering the construction invalued in the interference of Weston v. Edison. I do not know that anything can be done, except perhaps to call the attention of the Commissioner to the matter.
