[LB012396A], Letter from Richard Nott Dyer to Zenas Fisk Wilber, May 24th, 1882

Editor's Notes

I deliver herewith the specns in the rough of cases 421 to 427 inclusive, together with the blanks propoerly signed and executed and the drawings. These specns Mr Edison has looked over carefully, and he instructed me to ask you to file them without change, unless you see reasons why changes should be made, in which case he would be pleased to have the matter first submitted to him. Cases 417, 418 and 419 and 420 are on matters in which the Light Company is not interested. Since Mr Edison desires to keep complete copies of the specns in all of his cases in the future, you will kindly return the rough copies after you have made your copy for filing. Perhaps it would be well for you to furnish me with a supply of your Edison application blanks, to obviate the necessity for change in the Power of Attorney. I find that Mr. Edison's record of cases has not the claims in cases 388 to 391 inclusive and in cases 409 to 416 inclusive.##You would do me a great favor by sending me the claims in these cases as soon as possible. The claims in cases 388 to 391 inclusive I have been trying to get from you for nearly four months, and I cannot continue the record very well without them.
