- As the time has arrived for a settlement of our accounts in regard to my visit to Europe for the purpose of assisting in disposing of your patents for Electric light, I beg to make the following statement. You asked me of your own accord to represent you at the Paris Electric Exposition and by every means in my power to accomplish the desired object viz: the favorable sale of your European Patents and the general removeable of any obstacles thereto.
