- Confirming the verbal arrangement made with you by Mr Insull I beg to state that in consideration of your taking the superintendence of the work (such as Sunday from time to time indicate [----n) in connection with the construction of Electric Light Central Station Plants which I may contract to put up I will pay you monthly a salary of one hundred dollars ($100.00 your travelling expenses and will allow you two dollars per day for boarding and other expenses during such times as you are absent from New York.##It is my intention to present you with a certain sum on each job providing your work is performed satisfactorily to myself the amount of said sum however to be settled entirely by me
