- [TAE AUTOGRAPH (the good handwriting)---SELECTABLE] "I have tonight cabled to the London Company as follows. 'Accept terms, but greatly dissatisfied, see letter.' I do this solely for the reason that you and your firm have a large amount of money in this english Co and I do not want to interfere in the slightest degree in a way tha tmight cause you a loss or a regret for having gone into anything with me. Of course you can get out at any time, but I am tied up for years."
