- For some time past Edison has been trying to get the right to manufacture the Berthaud Borel cable in this country but has been unsuccessful in getting the permission so far. He wants you to see if you can arrange with Berthaud Borel & Co. to give him the right to make it here on a royalty of say 10 or 15 per cent on the selling price of the cable. They have agents here but we do not appear to be able to do anything with them. Will you look up this matter at your early convenience and advise me of the result.
