Title
[LB014244], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to William Henry Rideing, Youth's Companion, October 9th, 1882
Editor's Notes
Referring to your favor of the 5th, I would refer you to the Bulletins issued by the Edison Electric Light Company a complete set of which is sent you by this mail, the recent files of the New York papers, and Lingraw's article on Gas and Electric Light Illumination in a recent number of the Popular Science Monthly. If you cannot get the information you require from these I will have very great pleasure in answering any questions you may put to me. I am sorry to say that I am unable to write the set of articles that you ask for and my time is so much occupied that it would be quite impossible for me to do so and furthermore I make it a rule not to do anything of this character. If, however, there is any other way in which I can assist you, I pray you to command me.
