Title
[LB014322A], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to William F Macomber, October 24th, 1882
Editor's Notes
Referring to yours of the 21st inst.##I could not put it on the basis of profit as we do not sell the wire but use it ourselves.##I think my offer to you [seems] better than any one would give who intended to use the invention in a legitimate and proper manner you might apparently do better by other methods but time would probably show that my proposition was the best.##P.S. My superintendent very much desires to have a small sample of the wire. Please address it to John Kruesi 65 Washington St. (Electric Tube Co.)
