- Editor's Notes
- Your favor of 20th came to hand this morning.##My prices are quoted on the basis of payment hence in New York and all my business with my Foreign & Home Correspondence is conducted on these terms. My profits are so very slight that I cannot afford to be out of my money four weeks after shipment of goods and have to pay a Bankers Commission for the collection of my Invoices in addition. Why not give me authority to draw on your Co at three days sight & you authorize Drexel Morgan & Co of this City to honor my Draft on presentation of Business & Bills of Lading?##I will look up and send you pamphlets as to my System
