- Your favor of [1st] to Mr Edison to hand. He is not here today but I will show it to him immediately I see him.##I have instructed the Supt of the Machine Works to send you the Berthand [Bowl] cable you ask for. You should get it Saturday.##Mr. Lowery & myself called on Mayor Low of Brooklyn (one of the Trustees of Columbia College) as to Mr Edison proposed letter to the Board of Trustees. Mayor Low will give the [perfect] cordial support seemed quite impressed with the value of the suggestion. If Mr Lowery returns the Draft letter in time I will send it in before the next meeting of the Board which takes place early next week.
