Editor's Notes: I really think that Lamp Co Contract should be settled at once. Edison & Upton are both continually asking me about it. The matter has now been under discussion over a year & we really ought to [hurry] it through.##I am afraid that Edison will think that it is impossible to get any redress in this matter. If only on the score of the large amount of money invested in the Lamp Factory ($200,000) this matter should surely take precedence of all others.
