- Editor's Notes
- When Arnold White was here he promised to arrange, on his return to London, to have Hanfords Bills paid direct from London. Edison is now out about $[10000] paid to Hanford on account of English Light Patents. The last amount we paid him ($2300) we borrowed from Fabbri on a call loan Repayable in 60 days. That loan is due 2nd March. Cannot you arrange for the London Co to reimburse us before that date. I will send you copy of Handfords accounts by next mail & also a proposition from Edison as to this business##Meantime cannot you arrange to have the London Co pay Handfords future bills. Hanford wants money just now. Why not have the London Coy pay him. We certainly cannot as we have not got it.
