I hereby authorize you to speak on my behalf on any matters that may come up for consideration in connection with the business of the Edison Electric Light Company, Limited, and in relation to which the Directors of that Company may desire to have my views. If it should prove necessary for me to execute a formal document to give power to this authorization, I shall have great pleasure in doing so as your views in relation to my English light interests are so fully in accord with my own.
