Referring to your letter as to short shipment of lamps to Hamburg I beg to hand you herewith copy of letters from the manager of the Lamp Company & one from their shippping agent.##I cannot conceive how such a short shipment as you complain of could have occurred. It could not have happened without the Lamp Co discovering the error as their Lamp accounts are kept as cash accounts & every lamp properly accounted for.##I would suggest that you look forther into the matter to see whether or not some error has been made at your Depot at Hamburg##Our habit is to put a few more lamps in a case than the number we invoice
