- Editor's Notes
- I have just heard that an Armature busted at the Herald Bldg at 10 p.m. last night (Saturday). A man has just called for Vails address & I have sent him to look up Harrington Whom I think can find Vail. If Vail is not found I shall try & have the plant put right before night some other way.##I write this to point out to you a serious oversight on the part of whoever is responsible for the running of the Herald Plant. Seriously an extra Armature ought to be kept there to guard against such a trouble as the present one. The Herald [Rent] is (as I have heard you say)O of the greatest importance to us & yet when an Armature gives way there is not another on the spot to take its place
