- Editor's Notes
- I beg to confirm cables as follows##From you this day. Colombo telegraphs credit opened ship quick Hamburg one each improved L. Z. models for Siemens##As yet I have not got an improved [L] machine & do not expect to work on one just at present. We are now working on the Z & when we have one out will send it forward but just now I cannot say exactly when it will be ready. If I am to send models for others to build from I shall expect to charge more per machine as the Edison machine works is put to great expense in getting up these new types of machines & the only way we can get our money back is by receiving large orders to build machines
