Title
[LB016414], Letter from Samuel Insull to William D Rich, May 22nd, 1883
Editor's Notes
I enclose you herewith rough ground plan of the Brockton Central Station; we will be very glad to have your estimate of the cost of erecting the same as early as possible.##The engine is to be of [brick] and built in such a way so that we can [-------] it at each end on some future occasion. I have seen Messrs Babcock & Wilcox about their boiler. They inform me that they will provide us with a surface blowoff if we so desire. They dont supply any of the brick except that which goes between the tubes to keep them in position. I enclose you herewith details of sizes and quantities for these boilers for your information.
