Abstract

I think that something should be done immediately with reference to the men who have been employed at Menlo Park. The Engineer who is a very reliable man and understands his business thoroughly will in all probability leave Menlo Park this week unless something is done with relation to retaining him for the new Railroad Company. I also think that you should come to some decision as to whether you require Mr Hughes' services, otherwise he will in all probability take up some other work in connectin with my business
