- Editor's Notes
- There is no great difficulty in lighting the tunnel, but it would require that I send one of my best experts there, again it is a great ways off, and [because] I prefer to my tunnell work nearer home, and I am now getting bill through Pa legislature making change in mining law about lighting Coal mines so as to enable us to go into that business. I will not undertake anythingthat I cannot make a success of both electrically and commercially and it is a little harder to make the moves in California than in Pa, so I will try Pa first. Will you not have to well light the bend when you draw water off a commerce taking out metal
