- Editor's Notes
- I beg to notify you that I have no further use for the third floor office in this building, as what little business I have now got at 65 Fifth Avenue can be as easily attended to in my [library] on the top floor.##Inasmuch as the books in my library have been mainly collected for use in connection with the Light Company's affairs, and, furthermore, that the library would be of practically no utility to the Company, unless it was kept in this building, I presume that no rent will be charged me for the use of the attic floor. It is not my intention to conduct any considerable business on that floor, as I shall simply leave one clerk, as a rule with a view to his answering any inquiries in connection with my affairs.
