Title
[LB018196], Letter from Samuel Insull to Alfred Abernethy Cowles, Ansonia Brass and Copper Co, August 1st, 1884
Editor's Notes
I enclose you herewith memorandum of amounts due our Construction Dept. by various electric illuminating companies. In addition to this the Edison Electric Light Co. owe us about $17,000., on work in connection with the Construction Dept., and with relation to which we are now arranging settlement.##I will send you a statement of the affairs of the Machine Works in the course of a few days. I would do so immediately, but inasmuch as our books are just being closed for this month, it would be far more easier for me to supply you with this information after the bookkeepers have got out their monthly balance sheet.##Enclosure.
