Title
[LB018419], Letter from Samuel Insull to Edward Hibberd Johnson, September 25th, 1884
Editor's Notes
I spoke to Mr. Guimaraes about the drop on the conductors in the various plants that were put up. Sunbury, Shamokin, Lawrence and Brockton were determined on the old Menlo Park method and with relation to these I shall have to look up further data to find out the exact drop calculated for.##But all the other stations which the Construction Department erected, namely, Hazleton, Mt. Carmel, Bellefonte, Fall River, Newburgh, Middletown, Piqua and Tiffin, have the drop calculated on the basis of ten per cent on the feeders and three per cent on the mains. Circleville, which was installed by the Ohio Edison Installation Co., is also calculated on this basis, as are also Williamsport and Ashland.
